====== Morals and Ethics ======

In my opinion, morals differ from ethics in that morals are a personal thing, almost like personal preferences, with an addition of [[:Reflective Equilibrium]]. Yes, I'm a moral subjectivist.

This differs from [[:Ethics]], which is a code that can be enforced upon you.

Because of this, I only use the word "morally" on this website, as well as "in my opinion". I don't think a code of ethics is generally a good thing, as that creates [[:rulers]]. Without rulers, ethics seems to approach morals, since ideally you are only beholden to the rules you [[:consent]] to.
